I used to have really bad back pain. And training in the gym, especially squatting, didn’t help at all. But that’s because I was doing it wrong. Years of research and experimentation later, my back is so much better, as is my squatting technique. What’s the secret? I love how Kim shares her wisdom and knowledge so we can to feel and look better. This podcast is not only knowledgeable but funny and how what Americans call butt farts it’s what the UK calls the same thing. Not sure why everyone get embarrassed about farting but it’s natural. I took Jim’s advice and knowledge and have put the TVA into practice. Kim is an angel sent from heaven above. I suffer from a bad back and I will be incorporating TVA and glute activation into my training everyday.

Thank the Lord I finally found your podcast at the beginning if the 8 Week Butt Camp challenge! This episode saved me from weeks of pain! My back pain is nearly gone and the inspiration has pushed me through 8 weeks of 3 a day workouts. It has changed my life! As a woman with a curved spin in my lower back, this one episode has seriously changed everything! Thank you sweetie! You're the best!

Hi Kim, you are a angel from heaven, literally, I have a client who has insane, back pain whilst do his training with me on Zoom this am. YES HE WAS SQUATING. I am so thrilled to have found Kim and the Strong and Sculpted podcasts. Kim’s stories are so entertaining and I feel like I know her personally by listening to her. I’ve just recently discovered her so I’m still catching up on past content. Today’s podcast was very helpful for me, my back is always hurting me and I know I’m not activating my glutes properly. I will definitely be putting these recommendations into practice and sucking my smoothie up whilst squatting 😆 Keep it up Kim, I appreciate you!!

Amazing podcast thank you! I get lower back pain after every leg day! I listened to this on my run this morning and practiced the smoothie trick, i love your honesty! I’m a 43 year old mother of two, yoga teacher and I’m ready to build my glutes! I think your podcasts and advice are incredibly motivating! Can’t thank you enough!

Really enjoyed this episode comedy and learning.... gotta love it! My husband told be about a year ago he just stopped squatting because it hurts his back. I love that you share all your wisdom Kim.. so grateful for you. I will take everything to light and put all your lessons to work let’s see how this goes!! So looking forward to many more boot camps you will be offering. Oh and BTW I hBs my very own yoga teacher here in my home. Yup my daughter Jenna who is truly a Gem!!! She’s a twin and went to India to this yoga retreat and came BAck home to California to bless us with her knowledge and newly learned practice! She can relate to tooting!!!!!

OMG!!!!! I’m howling! Pee your pants funny!!! Love your stories❤️ “Fanny Farts!” and “Sucking a smoothie through a straw through your vagina!” Hilarious! Reminded me that my friends and I used to refer to Fanny Farts as “VJ’s!” 😂 Anyway, loved your thorough explanation of the “TVA” and it makes total sense to me. Totally an “Ah ha” moment for me. Looking forward to Glute Camp in June!
