How My Childhood Trauma Made Me The Success I Am Today - Episode 56
Tuesday Nov 03, 2020
Tuesday Nov 03, 2020
At an early age, my sister and I were sent away to boarding school. We hated it. It was soulless and cruel. While there I would sleep in the bunk bed above my sister’s, and hearing her sobbing at night was too much; so I would crawl into her bed and put my arms around her, to comfort her. I should warn you that reliving that experience in this week’s episode brought me to tears yet again. But although I didn’t know it at the time, I was beginning to learn about responsibility, and how you can never shirk it, unless you want to spend your life being unhappy. Learn how I accepted my own sense of responsibility and how you can too.

Is it Possible to Feel Depressed, Even When You Have Everything? - Episode 53
Wednesday Oct 14, 2020
Wednesday Oct 14, 2020
Last weekend, I turned to my husband and said, "I feel depressed." He turned to me, incredulous, and said, "You've just had a $500,000 launch, and you're in the best physical condition of your life." I couldn't help feeling that he had a point. But nonetheless I felt depressed. So how can a woman who seemingly has it all get to a point where she feels depressed? And most importantly, how, when I feel like this, do I get myself out of it? My hope for this episode is that I can help you, should you ever look up and see a tall, dark wall looming in front of you. Let's go.

I’m not saying it’s easy to juggle all these demands, but you can certainly make it a heck of a lot easier by preventing yourself from becoming a victim of your own body. Here’s how…

You cannot make time. But you can juggle with it, kick it around a bit, and tweak its nose. Relax, listeners, I haven’t lost my mind. Is Fruit Making You Fat? - Episode 45
Wednesday Aug 12, 2020
Wednesday Aug 12, 2020
A short while ago, I blew up Instagram by suggesting that too much fruit can make you fat. A lot of people completely lost their minds because I said this, and the whole brouhaha became known as “fruitgate”. In this week’s show I’ll explain why I said it, what I learned about human behaviour from the whole crazy episode, and explain how to use food as a tool instead of an emotional crutch. It’ll give you a completely new perspective on foods that are “good” for you. Listen on. thesculptedvegan.com
