Why I'll Never Be One Of Those Vegan B******s - Episode 32
Thursday May 07, 2020
Thursday May 07, 2020
Let me start by saying that vegans can be the nastiest bunch of b******s you’ll ever meet - some of them. So why did I decide to join them? Raised in a meat-loving family, I even had to apologise to my dad whenever I invited a vegetarian to dinner. And yes, to this day I still miss the taste of cheese. So why did I change? Warning: the reason why I became a vegan is going to shock/surprise/annoy/disgust or delight you, but you’re sure to learn something. Listen on.

Awesome Podcast Kim, Thanks for sharing your story. I am one of the 60% of your community that are not vegan but since following you and starting your programs almost a year ago I have greatly reduced my animal product consumption, I am very into my health and having a healthy body and I thank you for helping me to improve my health journey 😊❤️

Hahaha, I’m so daft not finishing these reviews before my iPad conspires against means sends them way too early! I’m part of many vegan groups and I choose not to leave any comments as so many vegans are Alana,

This is the best! My daughter and I are vegan (husband and son not) I find myself having to tell people I’m not one of “those vegans” because it has such a negative connotation (even though I don’t buy leather, buy vegan makeup, etc). I get offended by other vegans often (and with omnivores) that get in your face. Everyone needs to chill out and do the best they can. People see my 56 year old physique - when I tell them I’m vegan they become quite interested. 😀 Love you and your rawness!

Thought provoking and interesting content delivered so honestly. I’ve been a vegetarian for 30 years and have considered being full vegan but been held back by thinking I couldn’t achieve it. Now armed with knowledge of the China study and how the cost of one steak can influence the impact of feeding others had given me the incentive to fully commit. I wish my child to live a full and healthy life how better than I being his role model! Fear has been holding me back but no longer. Thanks Kim 😀

2 years ago now after work stress I began eating more vegetarian foods, for the convenience of the access. I've always had the guilt associated with it, and connected when you spoke about eating the pastry. I've had guilt in my heart when choosing vegetarian options, as I know I'm still contribution to the harm of animals and hurting my body. I feel like I've fallen of the vegan wagon, and you've just given me a Mama Kim smack down, and told me to fucking get on with it and listen to my heart. ❤

I really love and connected with this podcast! Has to be in the top 10 of Kim's that I love listings to. I agree so much with your outlook and veganism and the message we present to the rest of the world when fear mongering is done by vegans. I've been vegan since 16, I'm 21 now. That's almost 5 years! After coming to the realisation of were meat came from, and after watching multiple documentaries until 3am in the morning. I went cold turkey overnight.
